Cruise Staff
Entertainment and Sports Job Positions
Job Role:
- Cruise Staff are under the direction of the Activities Manager/Cruise Director who plan and implement an activities programme for the Cruise Staff to carry out fun and exclusive shipboard activities such as trivia’s, games show’s, bingo, karaoke, fun dance classes, pool games and many more!
- Cruise staff must be outgoing and energetic and be comfortable hosting activities for large groups of guests of mixed ages and abilities.
- As a Cruise Staff if you have any additional talent and you think it will be a success and you think it could be a hit with the guests then let someone know what you can bring! The more engaging activities and excitement for the guests the better.
- Cruise staff are also used for cross team collaboration and must be comfortable assisting with other departments on the ship, such as gangway duties, embark/debark, wheelchair assistance and operating follow spots for production shows (will receive training).
Requirements:
- Degree or qualifications in performing arts, entertainment or related field.
- Previous masters of the ceremonies experience in similar environment (e.g. previous cruise line, resort/hotel or similar).
- Candidate must have an outgoing and a personable personality as you will need to be able to host and engage guests and aim to maximise participation and create memorable experiences.
- Exceptional customer service skills, as you will be involved in daily activities with a high volume of guests from a variety of countries.
- Additional language skills (preferable).
Contract Length:
- 6 months and 3 weeks followed by 6-8 weeks holiday/vacation.
